MP Issah Taylor Champions Enhanced Police Collaboration for Safer Tarkwa Nsuaem

Hon. Issah Salifu Taylor, accompanied by National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Chairman Danladi Salifu and Personal Assistant Sanni Abdul Aziz, met with senior police officials to discuss critical measures for improving public safety. Central to the dialogue were strategies to deepen community-police cooperation, upgrade emergency response protocols, and bolster initiatives that uphold law and order.  

During the meeting, Taylor underscored the necessity of unity between residents and law enforcement to drive development. “A secure environment is the foundation of progress. By bridging gaps between the police and the community, we pave the way for Tarkwa Nsuaem to thrive,” he stated. The MP also pledged legislative and logistical support to address operational challenges faced by the police.Leadership of the Tarkwa Police Service welcomed the collaborative approach, reaffirming their dedication to proactive crime prevention and citizen engagement. “This partnership aligns with our mandate to protect lives and property. We are optimistic that such synergies will enhance public confidence in our work,” a senior police representative remarked.  

Both parties reiterated their commitment to the shared vision of “A New Era of Hope and Progress,” a framework prioritizing safety as a catalyst for socio-economic growth. The discussions also explored resource mobilization for police equipment and training, as well as community sensitization programs to combat crime.  

The visit marks a pivotal step in addressing localized security concerns and follows recent calls for improved policing in mining communities like Tarkwa Nsuaem.
